PERSONALITY

The term Personality is derived from a Latin word Persona which means “Mask”. Generally we think mask is used to conceal one’s identity but the theatrical mask was originally used to either represent or project a specific personality trait of a character. The study of personality can be understood as the study of masks that people wear.

Personality is the dynamic organization within the individual of psycho-physical systems that determine his unique adjustment to his environment.
